    All Decca carts are over-priced IMO.

    Seems so these days. But there again, what else can you buy that sounds like that? Nothing.

    True - which is why the Decca is the one fixed-coil cartridge I always have available for use in my system, as an alternative to the various MC I use.

    What about ADC's though? I couldn't go without a decent one of those about. They have a bit of magic!

    Only had one Mk.IV. A 4RC, which was superb! Superior to the various MK.V Londons I've owned, although the Export Grey was very good.

    I should have said "permanently available". My ADCs are high compliance and need to be used in (very) low mass arms, so are only listened to occasionally.

    My Deccas are less fussy about the arms used (though they are fussy about setup!)
