His copy writing skills are pants too. Good for Jamie though. Well spotted. Great price.

Good purchase Jamie. The tweeters are worth more than that.

I have to admit, the Ditton 44 is not a favourite of mine. I had a couple of pairs and didn't get on with them. But at that price it's worth trying them.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Ah well. Never mind. Sooner or later you'll end up trying a pair of decent Tannoys, then your searching will stop.

Tannoy DC200 speakers with a £500 asking price. That's nuts! Ten times what they're worth. What a chancer!!

These miserable things are not at all good. I'd not advise anybody to bother with them. Even the cheap DC1000 is way better.

I hope nobody is daft enough to buy them!

Depends. The Eatons can be found for around £350 to £450 and they sound lovely. Proper alnico pepperpot dual concentric monitor units in those. (I've had five pairs)

Oh. And they have rubber cone surrounds that don't rot away.

Good spot on those Celestions, Jamie. I had a pair for a bit they do have some strengths and some weaknesses you need to compensate for.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
