Some of the Eagle branded speaker drive units are rather good. They were made by Foster (Fostex) and Coral, very nice. I have a bit of a collection of them.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
Went for £1850, higher than I expected. Should be a very nice amp for someone though.
