Someone in Livingstone, West Lothian selling what looks like a nice Eagle SA-200 valve amp (and tuner) for £50.

If I was nearby I would be grabbing it. Nostalgia value alone justifies it.

I wonder who they were built by?

Eagle made nothing themselves. Much of their gear was turned out by respectable Japanese manufacturers and was just labelled with the Eagle name.

Some of the Eagle branded speaker drive units are rather good. They were made by Foster (Fostex) and Coral, very nice. I have a bit of a collection of them.

The seller is also selling what looks like a very nice Radford TT100. However with 7 days to go and already at £520 I reckon it will go for between £1k to £1.5k.

Did you ever hear/own a TT Tom? I think I asked Will at some point but now can't recall if he rates them.
Went for £1850, higher than I expected. Should be a very nice amp for someone though.

Indeed. Still much cheaper than a STA100.
