    It's not, but too be fair to the seller the range are often (incorrectly) cited as 'direct drive'.

    I have owned my PS500 since the early 80's and it has performed exceptionally well .. and still does. Only repair in that time being the bizarre piece of string used to activate start up.

    Bet it sounds like a dried up old prune.

    And he still managed to spell it incorrectly desiccate is the correct spelling although as we know he means dedic.......
    System a mixture of old and new.

    Sansui Alpha AU a907DR

    Serious velvet glove power house flagship from Sansui. Regarded as one of their best.

    Very rare in UK spec and sought after.

    Stonking build and quality - 32kgs dual mono construction, top grade electronics, 2 x 160w @ 8ohms Neutral, natural and detailed - a stunner - you'll wait a long time for another.

    If I didnt already have my new AU a707 DR (one down ) I'd be sorely tempted to snag this
