    don't know whether curing the protection mode issue is a major problem but if not this pioneer sa 8100 at £75 +£15 postage looks cheap.

    Doesn't look too bad either.

    For the money, its impossible to beat imo. £250ish for what is a superb tonearm is a bargain

    where are you seeing £75? its an auction with 1 bid at £50.

    The BIN of £75 disappeared once someone bid. Probably go for more than £75 now.

    This is same as mine. Great amp and worth money. Won't be that hard to get fixed either. They go often for £200/350 depending on condition

    Why not just get a Denon PMA-350SE for about £60 and enjoy some remarkably good sound and plenty of poke. It may not be the ultimate amp, but it's damn good and you won't find much to better it under £400. If you're lucky, you may get one with the very good optional phono stage.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Good amps for the money. Not a looker but work well enough. Prefer my old big Sony personally
