The Cheviot Mk.II has drivers with a simliar shaped chassis. I should know, I use a pair and they are superb!

Unfortunately, there are a few botched and butchered Tannoys about. People really need to do research before buying. Or ask somebody who knows.

The drivers are Philips 9710M units. Good pairs fetch over £200 these days. They sound rather nice, but bass is limited.

If I was local I'd be round there like a flash. Another pair for Andy maybe?

I'm amazed at your knowledge of speaker drivers Geoff. It's positively encyclopaedic!

I have a bit of 'a thing' with speakers and their drivers Barry. My favourite part of Hi-Fi.

I can understand that Geoff. My interest lays with the "other end": cartridges and pick-up arms. There's something fascinating about electromechanical transducers; the least perfect part of the replay chain, and where there is the greatest potential for development.

Very rare Coral dual-coaxial speaker drive units. Look in excellent condition.

Good for him if he gets it. There is no wrong in making a profit.
