    The Abis is not made by Jelco but its manufacturer is a closely guarded secret - I couldn't find out when I reviewed it!

    I must admit I liked it - its a good arm and works a treat with a DL103.

    looking at the pictures it just got a groove on the underside with a metal tube for stiffness and to carry the wires.

    Yes I know, but I was talking in general (or rather speculating) about the Schroeder and (vintage) ADC wood arms.

    Can't believe there's any refurb done to them, he looks to have polished over the years of stain instead of rubbing them down and the colour difference is surely due to the sunlight not grain difference...

    There's another set for £100 on there that are almost as bad
