    I don't know if he has a grunge 'period'. His collaborations with Crazy Horse are usually more rocky than his solo albums, but he's been doing those off and on for more than 40 years.

    Yes I was referring to 'Rust Never Sleeps' with Craxy Horse.

    Neil Young is regarded by many as the "Grandfather of Grunge".
