    Glenn Hughes "Soul Mover"

As a Mark II Purple fan I grew up less than keen on Glenn Hughes, but his output both solo and collaborations in recent years made me rethink this entirely. Plus I don't think any of his contemporaries' voices have held up half as well as his over the years.

They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”
