Thievery Corporation. New album (Feb 2017), 'the temple of i and i'. Very reggae themed and pretty decent on first listen.

Now listening to Neu! Hallogallo. Could be more prog rock really than electronic, but it did come out in 1972 so electronic genres quite early then.

You can't believe this is from 1972. It could have been made yesterday. Great fast moving beaty music.

Great stuff Neu! The 70's was a special time for German music. If you've not seen this BBC documentary 'Krautrock: The Rebirth of Germany, I highly recommend it Simon.

Thanks for that. I'm a big kraftwerk fan (tour de France, autobahn etc) and being a huge snooker fan and player myself, I was watching a documentary about Steve Davis' dj career. In it he played a neu track and i was a bit transfixed. This is maybe a modern interpretation track I think but I might be wrong, but watching and listening to this track i was enthusiastic as I'd never heard of neu before. I may find this track is the only one I like of neu but such is the individuality of music..... Ps the neu track Steve plays is the first one on this video.
