I was about to hit the buy it now button , Then thought why not take the hinges off the original one I have and use that

The one listed on ebay would be great if you did not have or had a damaged lid

    Nice find

I've cheerfully used this aftermarket cover:

    http://www.decksaver.co.uk/covers/tu.../sl-1200-cover

It can be purchased at 50% of the MRP from several UK resellers.

Yes Mike, it is a different approach compared with the orthodox cover. It does look better in the flesh than on the website, but it's not to all tastes.

I ordered an Iconic Audios dust cover 24. April. and the estimated delivery time is 12. June - 3. July. It´s a quite long time but apparently the manufacturer makes a lot when there´s enough orders.
The lid looks nice an study and the price is very reasonable as long as the finishing quality is adequate. Hopefully worth the wait.

In my opinion the lid should be removed when playing or if left in place closed at least. A hinged lid opened is not good for the sound if the turntable is in the same room with speakers.

Very nice looking lid- mine is pristine - and packed away in the original box - this makes me almost want one

Which reminds me.. I could really do with a special, somehow giving me extra room around the arm area which I occasionally touch when putting the not-that-great-condition lid back. Or perhaps I need to find a better way !

    It is.
    "Space", Ibiza.
One of the true global dance venues.

And, lurching back towards the topic, they use a lot of Decksaver covers.
