Rare Denon SL-7D Turntable

I have the chance to buy one of these for £160.00 however I can hardly find anything about it other than how rare it is.. Does anybody know the true value of one of these? or if they are even any good? I see a lot of comparisons to the technics 1200mk2.. but that is about it..

At a guess I would say it will be roughly on a par with a Technics SL1200.

Anyone else notice how this Denon deck looks remarkably similar to the Pioneer PL-71. I'm not so familiar with older decks, but this Denon has exactly the same layout as the PL-71 with respect to the speed selection and adjustments. Was it common for turntables of this vintage to be so similar in appearance? Or does this perhaps indicate that Pioneer manufactured this turntable for Denon?
