Nice shot - more picts please. I do really like the way the queuing light casts reflections - very cool.

I had intended just to play one side last night, but ended up throwing a few things at the deck last night and was up until after midnight. The Dino seems to have added scale and authority to the sound, with more bass depth and greater control it would seem compared to the Yamaha phono stage. There's a similar seemingly contradictory story of greater control and greater freedom through the mids and highs too. All first impressions of course - I do like it and my plan is now to "set and forget", enjoy the music (and possibly put some money aside for a new arm... no rush there).

Interesting start Malcolm but I'd love to see some shots of the rest of the system please.
More shots will come soon, I promise...
The Dino has transformed the vinyl performance (as is perhaps just to be expected but the change isn't really subtle. I was pretty unimpressed with the new Suzanne Vega which seemed a little shouty and harsh - it's now punchy and rich. Very pleased... I was happy with the Technics before, but since the Dino it seems to go up in my estimation with every side.

A couple of older photos for now...

This last one is really old, but shows the speakers that I still have. The layout is pretty much the same, but I now toe the stereo pair in to tighten the phantom centre image for stereo.

The IKEA Dioder backlighting is now restricted to the plasma (and is not as bright as it appears in the pic - I also stick to the white setting).

Looks good man.
Re that centre image, back when I was a tv owner I was in the habit of placing a towel over it so as to cover the screen and found that made quite a difference to cohesion.
