    Time to mix things up a bit so

    Now running the Technics , with the Mike New bearing and ETP platter , Origin live encounter MK3c arm , still running the Goldring Eroica cart but will in the next few days install the Shelter 5000
    Timestep HE power supply
    Arkless Turbo
    Croft 25
    Quad 11's and ESL 63 electrostatics

    I'll be very interested in how you find the Shelter 5000, Al. I love mine but will give more opinion on it after you've had a listen.

    I'm sure it will be fun, but I suspect that the Shelter and some of the accompanying kit will be reaching places that the Quad power amps will never get to.

    I suspect you're right, Chris. However, the Shelter should certainly wake up the 63s, else there's something wrong somewhere. The arm should suit it nicely.
