    I CANT POST PICTURES BECAUSE EVEN AT 3.1 MEGA PIXELS MY FILE SIZE IS TOO BIG.I WENT DOWN TO 2 mp AND IT STILL WONT GO.

    Some pics of my home made efforts. The Gainclone is housed ina Homebase Bread Bin with B&Q cabinet handles for grab handles.

    Shane. Just seen your comment. No, but my mate thinks I ought to wire in some blue LED's and a small watch battery !

    The eagle eyed among you will have spotted that the cabinets are the Fostex 208 BLH. You will also see that the drive units have changed between pics. I picked up some Lowthers at an Audiojumble recently as they were too much a bargain to pass up, but sadly they don't really suit the cabinet (as they were not designed for them!) and they have been put away for another day.

    Fostex drive unit pre-surgery to allow insertion of phase plugs
