Yes, it's still a bass/reflex but as you can see it's fitted with a BMR unit which covers everything from 250hz upwards. According to Cambridge as the BMR has this coverage they can fit specialised bass units rather than bass/mids.Looks similar to the Naim Ovator speaker but a wee bit easier on the wallet.
