    Hmmmm my 1210 as you can see is not quite stock !!!!! The main thing is that your enjoying your 301, I hope it gives you many years of pleasure.

    It was actually the SME V I was going to point the finger at, as I've personally never heard another arm offer quite its level of low end impact!

    You have a very fair point in that the V is excellent at low end grunt. My plinth for the 301 is setup for the old SME 3012 which IMHO dosent offer the same impact in the bass area as the SME V.
