not tried oopo's dac yet. im using a XIANG SHENG DAC\PRE\HEADPHONE AMP for music from a coax.. hdmi to tv and tos to actives so not tried the oppo one as of yet

be interesting to hear your take on things dac wise....oppo is building a formidable reputation in the cans community!
I spent very modest money at richer sounds for a sony blu ray player and was flabbergasted at the jump in picture quality....the digital game moves quickly.
The oppo is rather special in that arena..

I Think I Am Finished...or Zeppelin to Sinatra & Back
Picture at 1080p is superb with the darbee processors added. Sound through my bt3 actives is excellent too. Transport is very quiet. Will need to alter wiring to try oppos own dac

Using the Oppo control app for your Ipad its a great streamer for hires into your dac.
Plays all music formats.
