Ive got a huge diameter hole at top left and a tube that fits it and goes right to back. Guess a driver was maybe housed in it. If it was the bass port I think it would have been too close to rear.

That's the mid chamber. If the tube is still secure, try (if you can reach) cutting a couple of inches off to get it clear of the back and make sure there's no damping around it. It may make a suitable port.Originally Posted by struth

Too true Brian.. They are quite solid. Cant make up my mind as to colour..I could just wax them as is after a bit more work or i have a few stains... A water based rosewood. And 2 spirit based. Yes i ve got a way of fitting the drivers now. The port is 5 inch diameter and cs long as i want it. Quick calcs tell me about 7/8 inches long maybe .. Lol
