Once I got the right app it set up fairly easily and seems to work with Alexa voice command or with the iphone app.

These connected gizmos are a huge security hole. I'm assuming it works via your main wifi router, if so, you should do some research for how to keep it isolated from everything else as they tend to connect using plain text and basically share your wifi network with anybody nearby.
SBT/Chromecast/TEAC T1 into TEAC D-T1 DAC or olde-worlde Rega Planar 2 controlled by Rotel RC850 into HH S500D or DACT Passive Pre into Mullard 5-20 monos. Then into Tannoy Cheviots and a Wharfdale sub. All connected by colourful cables.

New jumper leads lol
ressurected these cables as I forgot to try them due to ill health. found them upstairs and as i was in mood thought I would give them a try with the monos. Took the old cable off and found that the plugs were failing with cracks etc. never really been out much so may have been when I had the accident.
anyway think there is a distinct improvement
Will replace all plugs as these were good cables. Sure that will have affected sound somewhat
These new ones have an increased Capacitance; highs seem a bit more extended.

I'm sorted.
I was using that configuration Grant but got this advice elsewhere against putting power amps on speakers -amps are on speakers
'The Tannoys will vibrate (all speakers do) and that will feed back into the electronics (in the amps) which will be microphonic to a degree. This will cause some low level smearing.'
I'm currently using them on chopping boards on footers on the floor but have to say I've not noticed much (if any) difference.
