Looking good Chris.
Just make sure you use a good quality switch with low contact resistance and no neon power on light.
You don't want to add additional noise to your incoming supply.

I'm Chris.
So made some progress recently. I'd appreciate some opinion of the measured voltages incase any are adrift of normal.
Output from the stock Transformer - 33.6vac

Output from Ken's PSU - 43.7vdc

Output from Ken's Regulator - 20.2vdc

Do these sound acceptable?
Alas the missile switch cover is a no-go as it's sprung loaded mechanism just turns the switch back off!
Thanks as ever.
Chris
