I like VTL amplifiers. I've got an old VTL Deluxe pre-amp that sounds very sweet indeed. I've pondered about getting a pair of monoblocks myself. The UK made models from years back (as is my pre-amp) were manufactured about 200 yards from my house, here in Southall.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I had a vtl pre amp for a week or more , build quality was like a Mercedes [and I have had a lot of pre amps !! ] well impressed and when I had a question they responded really fast to my queries
