Hi,
Yes, externalising the existing psu as shown in the DIY PSU thread is pretty quick and easy.... only a couple of hours work and very few pounds. I have my doubts as to whether such a high grade regulated psu us justified on cost/benefit grounds until you have seen to all of the other costly areas. A cheap diy job will get you a long way, believe me!. I honestly think it did more for my turntable than the Jelco, or at least an improvement of a similar magnitude - it's that good!.
Regards,
Alex

Been looking at a Denon HA-1000 HeadAmp....
Any experiences here with it paired with a denon DL-103SA? How would it stand against say the A23 SUT?
In terms of phono stage matching with the HA-1000, any suggestions considering my initial remarks and current system (look at the initial comments).
Thanks

Just pulled the trigger on a Denon HA-1000 HeadAmp to work with my brand new DL-103SA.
Hope it sounds good but a shame that I don't have a base of comparison.
It would be nice if someone could lend me on of these days an A23 SUT do to a direct comparison.
But before that I have to mount all the pieces and start getting familiar with this new setup.
I'll keep you posted.

Last stop -> phono stage
Eeeerrrg... Hadn't a clue on how much did a certain phono stage cost,that I've liked for some time now from past experiences on audio shows and so forth, up until now! Wow!!
Talking about the BAT VK-P10se! Holly cow... So expensive! Guess I'll have to scratch this one from my wish list...

Should be interesting with the 1210 with some mono records. The Jelco 750 is probably not the best fit for this cart... If it were, it would be a tempting purchase!
PS: I'm not related in any way with the seller!
