Hawk audio is a small Dutch/Belgian company delivering amplifier and loudspeaker kits worldwide.
Recently we're in the field of class-D amplifiers. That kind of amplifier has several advantages such as low energy consumption, less weight and lower prices then class-A or class-A/B amplifiers.
There's also a "Hybrid" amplifier where a tube is used for the input amplification followed by a class-D power amp.
Our loudspeaker models all are constructed in PVC tubes. PVC is a "thermoplastic" material, so pressure is converted into a temperature rise and NOT in reverberations of the cabinet. All filters are designed as "series filters" using less components and with more "musical" results then the common "parallel filters".
