    Default Orbit Turntable - new

A handful of vinyl lovers developed this table, it received funding through kickstarter and should be in production this fall.

    Interesting - looks a bit like Pro-ject

US only to start, later EU.

At current exchange rates that's £178 for the top model. Fantastic value. Bet the price doubles by the time it gets to the UK .

    Hmm

Certainly good value. Probably a great little starter - I would certainly try it as an entry level. Definitely that

Moving magnet as an upgrade from ceramic cartridge - which century are we in?

AC motor in a solid plinth

Unipivot arm - watch bearing rattle

MDF platter (very very low resonance. very very damped. Bet you have to turn the wick up real high)

Zero resonance acrylic - since when no resonance ? low resonance maybe. Close impedance match to vinyl maybe.

Great little starter deck to audition if it makes it over here, but don't drink in too much of the marketing spiel
