First time I did the A93 it had signs saying "Beware: Motorcycles approaching at very high speeds" which I loved to bits! No trying to stop the bikers.. just warn the obstacles to beware
Aye the A93 is a great road, know it like the back of my hand as I come from Braemar.

Anyone contemplating the purchase of a new car should take a look at the April changes to VED (car tax).

Just a money train... road tax should have been scrapped years ago and fuel levied. If you do 40,000 you should naturally pay more than someone doing 4000

My new bike arrives in 2 weeks time.

    proper old mans bike lol

But its comfy, has hard luggage, a few bells and whistles like rider modes and traction control on it and still manages 125 bhp and 90 lbs of torque so is reasonably rapid when needed.

I'm already planning a summer holiday down to the alps and beyond on it.

Blimey that's got some miles on it Mark!

Have you had much to do on it what that sort of mileage?

I had the early T595 Daytona and the later more angular shaped Daytona 955i both great bikes, the earlier bike with a high level triumph race can was probably the best sounding bike ive ever had....
