Default Good quality DC cable recs?

Looking for good quality wiring for DC power supplys for upcoming projects.

All the DC leads I've seen on ebay etc look like bellwire, dont look that clever to be honest.
Any good suggestions or alternatives from experienced DIY'ers?
    Will be carrying 9V 1A.

Also the barrel connectors thats usually fitted to DC leads, any milage in getting "audiophile" quality ones?
    Assuming they exist!

    thanks.

Hi Gary, when I was looking into a similar thing (although more than just the cable) I decided that I'd use Neutrik Speakon connectors. They're rated at 30A, I liked the idea of using locking sockets, & open up choices of cable nicely.

Specifically for a single rail supply or dual rail with the 4 pole connectors of course...

Kimber TCSS twisted pair is the best that I've used, both in terms of physical quality and sound quality.
