Default Artists You Wouldn't Give House-Room To

    The Smiths

Can't abide them. Morissey can't sing to save his life and frankly I'd rather spend 45 minutes engaged in something way more fun, like blood letting...

    Pop
    Donny & Marie Osmond (cringe)
    Atom and the Ants
Actually quite a few but - waddaya know - can't remember their names.

    Classical
Anything conducted by Michael Biltong Thomas.
Anything composed by Johann Strauss the 1st (or the 2nd, or the 45th). I would rather have a vasectomy by a blind surgeon.

I hope all repliers will follow Dave's lead and have a "I'd rather ..."

    Very rare
One I played recently Was (not was) Papa was a rolling stone (full version)
Rap attitude and quality of product is not for me. Big hard boys and the odd girls making money from going through the motions. Hard to see the genuine article from product - if there is one and likely I wouldn't agree with it anyway.
Rap came out of ranting and I didn't like that as a style. Go back further in that trail and you end up in Ska territory, some of which wasn't too bad and it seemed 'genuine'

Too many to list but I agree with you on the Smiths. I think Morrisy has a dreadful voice. Can't stand Pulp either as Cocker has a crap voice also.

It doesn't matter how good the music is if the lead singers voice ain't up to much! Alternativly an average song can be greatly enhanced if the singer has a really good voice.
In - Tweaked Lenco GL75, Linn Ittok, Ortofon Cadenza Black
Through - Croft Micro 25 RS LS, power R monoblocks, RIAA R. Ortofon ST-80 SE SUT.
Along - Tellurium Q Ultra Black cables
    Out - Harbeth SHL5 Plus XD's
