Yeah we did get some hours on it last weekend huh!

Yes, I've spent so long researching and trying to get it up to spec I've slowed right down with the music; now I can relax and get involved with enjoying what I have and discovering lots more, which is what it's about.

Loving the look of the system. If it looks only half as good as it looks I'm sure you'll love it

Don't worry, it looks half as good as it looks

    Thanks Joe

Might add some more tweaks to it, just to upset the pfm lot a bit more, got to be worth the money

Will be speaking to the shop about the damaged speaker tomorrow, I don't see myself ever wanting to change the model so can't settle with cracks and bruised veneer on the side of it

A very nice and neat set up you have there Martin. I particularly like the equipment rack.

But, apart from the Usher speakers, what exactly are the other items of kit?

    Sanders Magtech amp

    Longdog Audio vdt1 dac

Isotek Aquarius evo 3 mains conditioner (schuko plug fittings)

MCRU linear psu (for the pc beneath it)

Home built PC (Windows 8, all ssd and passive cooling, no moving parts); runs Jriver v18

Franc Audio isolation platforms (under speakers)

PC to dac is usb; I'v got an ifi usb power unit with a linear psu to keep the signal clean.

Underneath the amp is an Acoustic Revive RGC-24, which is a grounding conditioner (passive unit, suck aways transformer borne noise).

What did you decide re the power amp Martin? Are you going to stick with digital "dithered" attenuation or look into analog attenuation with a pre amp. Could you borrow one for comparison before making a purchase, as I fear for your bank balance?

Looks really, really Desirable(I struggled to think for the right term there), if it sounds half as good as it looks will need to reread the tech bits as some(well a lot, went over my head). I've seen this so many times on car forums only for the mod itch to start and it all begins again, but until then, happy listening.
