I know I said I wouldn't kiss and tell, but this is an old product, and an old incarnation of Pink Triangle, with different personnel (who I won't name)

With my needle from Arizona in a Jumbo over the Atlantic as we speak, I was about to make up a moving coil header for the pip, and not being good with schematics, looked to copy the header from the Pink Triangle Pip2 instruction manual I have. It didn't look right from what I remembered. So I dug out the schematic, looked at the board, and phoned Owen.

Sure enough - it wasn't right. Indeed the "Moving magnet" version, shown as 47Kohm loading, has nothing of the sort, and I had a header made that way, until Owen did me a proper one. Maybe the later production ones were different, but I hadn't thought that aspect of the design changed.

Anyway - as well to check. I'm going with a 100 ohm load for starters. Just need that needle to arrive...
