There is a manufacturer of arrows, and they have an aluminum-clad carbon fiber. I'll be modifying this gimbal to take a new wand made of that. And may perhaps make it 10.5" or 12", depending on if I get a new TT project...

Yes, that's the basic idea. And it will need a custom cartridge mount as well.
