Default Could Spotify Premium be the cause of my Squeezebox woes?

Been on the Logitech forum trying to get help with my Touch, and a few people over there have also had the same freeze/shutdown /restart problem as me, and have suggested it could actually be down to Spotify,
Now, whether it is a definite I'm not sure, mainly as yesterday when it happened, the kitchen Touch, which is synced to the main one, carried on playing.

Any thoughts guys, shall I get rid of Spotify and go to Napster?

Spotify works here without a hitch.
I do know that Spotify here is accessed via my server, and not the www.mysqueezebox.com server, as I've never entered my login details on mysqueezebox.com

I'm fairly sure that the problems you have are problems with www.mysqueezebox.com

    That wouldn't help.

I'm not having problems with Spotify today, accessing via my Squeezebox Touch/NSA310 Server.
I also updated the plugin for Logitech Media Server today - I use the Triode plugin, not the Logitech one.

Sod it, outed Spotify, subscribed to Napster.

We 'll see if it was Spotty that was causing the problem.........

Just doing some A-B comparisons between Spotty and Nappy, and all of a sudden, the old problem of freezing and rebooting happened.

First thought was of disappointment that it looked like Napster was also victim to whatever is happening on the Touch, but then I thought, hang on, I've just been using Spotify again, and it happened straight after coming out of Spotty, and into Napster.

Ill have to refrain from using Spotify to see if it was the cause!

    So,I believe it's official.

Spotify is causing the problem on the Touch.

Just sat comparing it with Napster (again) and sure enough, the Touch froze, and then rebooted itself, this has not happened during lengthy listening sessions on Nappy.

I've come to the conclusion that despite the audibly tiny drop in SQ, unless I can come up with a solution to sort it, Napster stays, Spotty goes.

Please feel free to suggest a remedy to my problem if you have one though!

If the Napster is stable then that's definitely the way to go.
    Sounds like a result

Just to add to my last post in this thread - I've had issues tonite with Spotify streaming music in my direction.
The fault is unlikely to be at my end - my ISP is Virgin, and my connection speed is 120 meg.

I've had dropouts occurring on a number of albums/tracks, which is frustrating.
Perhaps Spotify have underestimated the amount of server bandwidth they'd require, especially considering that they now operate in the USA.

I've just dropped the bandwidth down to 160mbps just to see if that improves things.
