    Such a great pity that some of our great designers have never had the accolades they deserve. Fortunately, for the likes of Albarry, Croft, Notts etc, the vast majority of their production is exported to countries which appreciate their kit.

    I will be the first to have the new Harbeth SHL5 plus on demonstration, sometime around the 21st of this month. Actually, I've had two customers who were too excited to wait and have ordered on spec.

    Looks as though there may eventually be an update for existing SHL5 owners, or has this now been abandoned?

    It may be possible but not really cost effective as it entails new bass drivers and crossovers.. Not only that but because of their high standards, they won't allow users to do it themselves - the speakers would have to be returned to the factory.

    I don't understand things like this. Even when the warranty runs out your still not allowed to buy spares to do work yourself?
