    The A90 is an absolutely stunning looking cart and no doubt stunning sounding too IMO - I love Ortofon. I hate the look of SPU's no matter what they sound like. They remind me of a bounty bar on the end of a tube !

    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. LDR Stereo Coffee. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    I really don't get on with an excessive amount of "wire dangle"... anywhere in the system. Speaking of integrated headshells, besides the SPUs and my modded Track/Groovemasters, I like the ones Technics put out. They are hard to come by, though. It also looks as if the Technics have adjustable overhang and azimuth, a big bonus in my book. (From Lenco Heaven)
