    Very tidy pair of Celestion Ditton 15 speakers (circa 1972) sitting here doing nothing and I know for a fact these sound just fine on the end of Quads. Would have to be collected though.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    No no no lads, what the OP needs is some Lockwood TANNOYS. A mere £5K or so for new cabs plus refurbed drivers and crossovers. A perfect load for a well sorted 303 and I'm told the 303 was used in studios with these for a while, although since they never did mono versions (I think), the 50E might have been used instead at EMI, judging by a pic I saw.....

    If you wanted something really naughty, one of Paul's (RFCC) custom Tannoy jobbies should definitely be considered - yum!
