Hill Street Blues - The Complete Series

    http://www.amazon.com/Hill-Street-Bl...omplete+series

144 episodes! That's going to take some watching. Not seen them since Channel 4 showed them from 1985-1987

Second best TV show of all time.

A bit pricy though, endorphins were released on purchase. At least I get free delivery.
    Current Lash Up:

Dont seem to find much i want to buy now, and if i do i often get it as a stream. Find audiobooks to be what i now buy most followed by electronic e books. Then occasional vinyl

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Not too much now but Ive just noticed that Spike Milligans Q is now out on DVD...the episodes that werent wiped. Thats been a long time coming so I will prioritise those.

I might complete my Curb Your Enthusiasm boxsets

Im just completing my Al Murray pub landlord collection.

I may start upgrading my favoute films to Blu Ray like 2001 A Space Odyssey.

I'm mid way through the last series of the Sopranos after re-watching them over the course of the last 2 months. I watched them all when they were on TV but id not seen anything for a good couple of years. Its absolute quality from start to finish and a real struggle to find even an episode id personally rate as less than 4 out of 5 stars.
