Default Classic TV Treats - ON NEW VINYL!

Just found that Network (which owns the I.T.C. backcatalogue) are making classic sixties tv soundtracks available on vinyl as both EPs and LPs and aimed at both the audiophile and tv collector with attention going into remastering and gatefold artwork. If the remastering of The Prisoner on DVD is anything to go by, a treat is in store. They went to some lengths to do a proper job.

    Brilliant!

Nice! I'm a sucker for a cool soundtrack (tv/movie theme).
Lyrics are the ramblings of man, sometimes inspired by The Creator, most often, not.
But music (melodies, harmonies, rhythms), that's God stuff.
    Always was. Always will be.

One of the biggest lies ever told was that only certain kinds of people should listen to certain kinds of music.

I don't know Martin. I just saw it last night looking for an album cover of tv themes to show Audio Al.

I want The Prisoner EP too. I'll have a look to see if available yet. Oh, last year I found an mp3 of Edwin Astley's The Saint. I don't know if some of his material has just recently come to cd. Anyway it was in stereo, which was a surprise, and sounded as fresh as if it could have been recorded yesterday.

It's this coming Saturday, 20th but . . . Titles are only available from independant stores, in person. You can't order on-line or reserve. It's attempt to get people back on the highstreet and supporting independant stores. Later releases might be more generally available.

There is a link to participatating dealers in the area you live. When I tried 4 were listed for Newcastle. No mention of prices.
