Default 100k log potentiometer <0.5W where to buy ?

    Hi,

Being a quite new person in this country I have found difficulties to buy 100k log potentiometers 0.5W at least, 1W or more recommended, single gang.
Alps, Bourns are desirable or any others good quality are welcome too.
I have checked few online shops like http://uk.rs-online.com, http://uk.farnell.com/ etc. and found nothing.
I need to replace old cheap ones on my amp.

    Please advice .

    Hi Stef,

    What´s it for ?

Is it the wattage that gives you problems ? When you say single gang, I assume you mean mono pots ?

    Something like this: http://www.partsconnexion.com/product7381.html

    Only good for 0.05W though.

The Canadian PEC milspec Carbon pots are well respected for audio - they do 2W and have 100K log/audio taper: http://www.banzaimusic.com/PEC-MIL-MO-LOG-100k.html

I actually have two of those PECs lying around, never really used - PM me if interested.

Google Hi Fi Collective. They have all the audio components you're likely to need and their service is first class.

    HI Ali,

I completely agree - Nick Lucas is a number one guy. Issue with HFC is the lack of mono pot options

Outside very special items, I do all my shopping with them.

I've bought from this seller and had excellent service. Items are great quality.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
