    Anyone use this tube?
I can upgrade to this tube as a power tube in my headphone amp.
I was hoping to get a review of them.

Yup, am using one of these in my pre-amp. I wasn't happy with the performance of my factory-fitted Sovtek and upgraded to the EH tube on the advice of the dealer. A noticeable improvement, I found the EH to be less "grainy" than the Sovtek. I still have the urge to try a 6H30P-DR 'Supertube' though, if I can summon up the courage to drop 100 quid on one ...

    Julian,
Thank you for making a comparison, I did read that the Electroharmonix is an exact copy made from the same factory on the same equipment using much the same materials.
The Sovtek is also much like the DR Super tube in construction but uses different coatings.
There is so little info on these tubes.

Are you using the Sovtek at the moment?

No, 6H6PI the 6H30 has larger plates and is an upgrade tube from the same family.
