Default Monster Beats vs. Koss potapro

I have been doing some reading on headphones and found a very interesting comparison.
The Koss are around $40.00 U.S. Monster Beats around $300.00 to $350.00 and the sonic s are very close.

Just shows the value per dollar of the portapros.

Beats are nothing to do with sound, they are a fashion accessory.

Anyone considering spending $300 on a pair clearly has little between the ears to process the information that the headphone will provide!

    IMHO
True but the koss sound pretty good for portables.
The beats are not junk but they do not do well with some music .
They are a one trick pony.
The koss with grado pads seem to be well balance d.

The PortaPro's are a design classic and very decent headphones to boot

    I fully agree.
The fact they are so deep and livley for there small size and price.
Makes them a modern day wonder.even if they have been out for 23 years or more.
    Unchanged since 1984.

The biggest problem with them is that it seems the users wear a beanie hat and place the headphones outside it. Maybe balances up the trousers bellow there arse......
