Default New Year cartridge clear out

    Dynavector 10x5 - about 100 hours - perfect in OEM boxes - £190 + p&p

Garrott P77 plus new ESC PN7 stylus ("red" stylus is conical re-tip not microscanner) - great condition - £150 + p&p

Sonus Gold Blue - very low hours (estimated less than 10) - OEM box, instructions & stylus brush - £100 +p&p

    REGA Carbon - Mint - (less than 10 hours) - OEM box - £20 + p&p

The Jelco headshells in the REGA and Dynavector photos are not included in the price but I am happy to sell these (both mint) for £35 each (£30 if bought with a cartridge).

I'd get rid of the 20X2 as well if I were you.....

All that analogue stylee richness - ugh!

Sorry, I meant to say "bloom and micro-details" instead

P.S. Good luck with the cartridge sale. I can't partake of any I'm afraid although I do have a sneaky respect for the Sonus Gold Blue, which needs careful loading and a high overload margin at very high frequencies as you discovered....

Thanks - if they don't sell it's no big deal - I like them all anyway.
The 20x2 ticks all my "euphonic boxes" - detailed, dynamic and hugely enjoyable - and it's not run in yet. Whatever its "limitations" in my current setup it's the best sounding cartridge I've heard ( but of course I've not heard that many)

... and then you start a thread because you want to upgrade the turntable side of things.....

I do care, honest guv'nor, but forgive me for passing on my experiences that the bit you want to change is, more often and not, the bit you probably don't need to change... That's all..

    .

I was simply idly musing "what if" and as such opened up a thread on the possibilities of moving ahead from the starting point of an already " well sorted techy" - My amps and IMO speakers ( given my room limitations) are likely as good as I can get on a real life budget so in the future if I were to "upgrade" it would need to be the front end. I'm not at all dissatisfied with the current setup - indeed I'm really happy with how it sounds (not getting rid of the 20x2 but your facial skeleton is safe )
