I have my 2nd and last one of these for sale now that I've moved to a 3TB external HDD for my MacBook Pro
It's in immaculate condition, fully boxed and with no damage whatsoever. Comes with the OEM power cable, firewire & usb cables.
It was used to store my iTunes folder and that's it but it has now been formatted and is ready to use

I can answer that one for you, yes it will but the bus speed will still only be USB 2.0
If you want 3.0 you would be better buying a new USB 3.0 drive.
