    Default Streaming through Rega Isis.

Can anyone advise on best way to stream through my Rega Isis cdp?.

Initially i was going to use a mac mini and a Nas box using a ipad to select files but ive now had a suggestion of a Zotac Zbox D525.

This will connect to the Regas dac via usb.

    Any help advise appreciated.

Initially I would just use the computer you are using right now, just get hold of a decent USB to s/pdif converter.

Cheers Keith but i dont want a whopping big pc in the room.

Ive been using a ps3rega dac hard wired(cat 5e) to the pc upstairs for a while but Rega have decided not to fit a optical in on the Isis just usb so im looking for something to replace the ps3.

I know enough to know that you don't need a huge PC for audio use these days.. I believe Naim use/used an Atom based mobo in their HDX streamer and thgese run pretty quiet I understand.

Hopefully, someone can come along and put me straight

I would get a Joggler (cheap Squeezebox Touch) and connect via USB to the Isis , install LMS on your upstairs PC, use your smart phone or Ipad or laptop or any other Tablet to remote control Squeezeplay. This is good up to 192k . £50 - Job done!
PM or call me if you want more info.
