By the way, did I mention that in my industry - forestry management - there are some who believe that Beech is an incorrigable alien weed that should be eradicated at all costs?

Now, it would seem to be a fairly interesting curiousity that this would be the case, and I suppose it's made a little more curious by the fact that I'm typing this on the thread I posted to commemorate the 2,000th thread.

But what would you say if I told you that I also posted the 3,000th one too?

So, just what the hell is going on?

By the way, more importantly than observations about co-incidences & serendipity, congratulations and thanks to the good folks who run the place for allowing us to post so much crap here in the first place!

Tells you how many threads & posts have been logged & that number is different to the thread number shown elsewhere because some have been deleted or moved or whatever - I know this because I had to get Nick to explain all this to me at thread no. 3,000
