Default Congratulations to Art of Sound - 2000 threads

This post is meaningless (& free of all bigotry & sexism), but I just wanted to post the 2,000th thread!

And a fine job you're doing too.
By the way, did I mention that in my industry - forestry management - there are some who believe that Beech is an incorrigable alien weed that should be eradicated at all costs?

...........but I think you're just great!!

Well, bugger me if I haven't just posted the 4,000th thread on The Art of Sound!!
    http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...9683#post79683

Now, it would seem to be a fairly interesting curiousity that this would be the case, and I suppose it's made a little more curious by the fact that I'm typing this on the thread I posted to commemorate the 2,000th thread.

But what would you say if I told you that I also posted the 3,000th one too?
Nick (Beechy) will confirm, I'm sure, that I did that on 21/07/09 - Radford: About Power Amplifiers

So, just what the hell is going on?

By the way, more importantly than observations about co-incidences & serendipity, congratulations and thanks to the good folks who run the place for allowing us to post so much crap here in the first place!

    Cheers

NB - The ticker at the bottom of the menu page http://theartofsound.net/forum/index.php (What's going on?) Tells you how many threads & posts have been logged & that number is different to the thread number shown elsewhere because some have been deleted or moved or whatever - I know this because I had to get Nick to explain all this to me at thread no. 3,000

LOL - the top men are always around at the right moments I guess, Chris!

Our goal now is to get as close to 2000 members by 21/01/10, which will be the year 2 anniversary of AoS

Time flies when yer havin' fun, eh?
