    Default Fitting cartridge

Just had my cartridge repaired by Dominic at Northwest Analogue & he seemed surprised when I told him I had no idea of how to fit it. Never had to! I've no idea what VTA & azimuth is & I last used a protractor at school (many many years ago). Anybody in the Newbury (Berks) area like to teach an old dog new tricks?

Hi John. Is it still the case that Henley Designs are helping you with this?

dont try to take it all in at once! The 1st couple of links show the various things that you need to take into account. Basically its all about getting the stylus sitting in the grove properly across the whole record. If you try to understand each adjustment type 1 at a time, it will soon become much clearer...
