A mate of mine has an Alcatel, and he rates it. Two and a half times the cost of my Alba though. Bowie's "Golden Years" ringtone this morning, God knows what this afternoon's ringtone's called, "India Enema" by the sound of it

I worked in cellphones 1995 to 2004 and hate to say it but Alcatel were notorious for going wrong. But I suppose things may have changed.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

My mate's Alcatel may go wrong if he keeps it long enough. He has a bit of a short fuse and breaks his phones on purpose

Why is it you can never find the particular cable you need?

Can find all sorts of weird cables I wouldn't even have a use for (when & why did I get them??) but never the actual one I want.

You've probably got it plugged in the back of your equipment.

Ha - I think you've got something there! As for those awful junk programmes, it's always funny laughing at vacuous idiots with more kids than braincells!

Why they have to procreate so much, I don't know-it isn't like they don't have a telly! And its usually a 65 inch one! Still, if you're going to get your TV from Bright House, with no intention of making the repayments, you may as well go large.

Have you ever played the game 'spot the house without a satellite dish, on your average dole-scrounger council estate'? It's a fun one...

Not done that one, but observing these "Channel 5 Chavs" beating a path between Bright House, Sport Direct and Cash Convertors is quite amusing. And why does the "husband" always have his right arm in a plaster cast?

Whenever I see a car chase in one of those "Road Wars" type programmes, the miscreants always decamp and "have it on their toes" in trackies and trainers. I think people wearing sportswear in public without a valid gym membership should be arrested and charged with "going equipped to run from the police".

And while I'm on this rant, I always give drivers wearing a baseball cap a wide berth, because they rarely give a toss about other road users. Also, old men driving with a trilby on their head can be a problem too (easy to spot, their right turn indicator is on permanently).
