Not that I experiment with after-market mains cables: just use 'kettle' leads, or ones I have assembled.

Understand what you mean about the CAMAC connectors, but they are infinitely preferable IMO to the horrid RCA 'phono' connectors. CAMACs are readily obtainable from Fischer, or from Lemo - but they are expensive. My Levinsons uses them (or XLRs), but then my system also uses just about every audio connector that has been designed!
Check out the No. 326' and others in the No.320 line of preamps, no mains on the rear, it's in the center under the bottom. A good looking preamp! With lots of great features. But that's not one of them.

And the Camac's, just like Batamax, a superior format, that was kept proprietary and the lesser VHS being open licensed went world wide! Same thing with Camac and RCA, as you say the Camac is rare and expensive. You're not gong to get your favorite brand of cable with them, and a large number of old Levinson gear was switched over from Camac to RCA, back in the day.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I always thought two balls on the pitch and wider goals would make it much more fun for everyone.

No. Triangular pitch with three teams and three goals. See who gangs up on who!
