The "Cult Of Celebrity" has a lot to answer for and a lot of sheepish young followers. I was appalled to see that girls as young as 9 are concerned that they are ugly and don't have this or that, that the magazines or "apps" etc tell is an absolute must. Mrs Puffin watches a lot of tele, bless her, and on occasion I will "cock an eye" over the AOS page to see what is going on...or more to the point...what all the fucking cackling on the box is. Stacey Solomon may not be the sharpest tool in the box but she is pretty genuine....even in her own skull thickery, and is savvy enough to put herself down, which often means that someone has a good insight into their own limitations. She is now teamed up with Joe Swash (yes, you may need to Google him) and they make a very good honest couple. IMO of course.

Used to use those on telly tubes. Always needing degaussed in old days. Colours went out of sync and reds, greens n blues all out of step, especially at ends of tube.( screen)

Yep. I stood a box of Audax midrange units with big magnets next to one of the TVs and ended up with a green/purple patch on one side of the screen!
