This sounds fairly minor, but for some reason it really annoys me...... people who enter a building/office (specifically our building/my office to be honest) through an open door, but close it on the way out.

Irreparable throw away modern "engineering". Just had a look at a pair of active PA speakers for a long term good customer with a gig on Saturday. As soon as the back was off I put it back on again after finding it had class D power amps powered by a SMPS, all SMD and in one "power brick". This is now common but as these were pushing 10 years old I said I'd take a look... I guess some will call it progress as when mass produced it makes them say 20% cheaper. Also lighter in weight... but, there are no performance improvements (the opposite if anything) and the only way these will live again is to get a new "power brick" from the manufacturer... Probably at most of the cost of a complete new active speaker....

Sadly, a lot of items now are deliberately designed not to be repairable. Virtually all consumer electronics and kitchen goods - held together by plastic barbed fixtures which when snapped into place cannot be removed. It is cheaper simply to throw the broken item away and replace it with a new one.

About the only thing which can be repaired these days are shoes.

I got a new pet hate today, people who park ruddy great 4x4 I.C. cars in electric car charging spaces. Was sat at the airport waiting for my good lady, huge great car park half full but Mrs, I drive an X5 "don't you know" had to park her BMW across the only two electric car charging spaces. She did get her comeuppence though when she got back to her car and was verbally torn apart by 3 old ladies (the youngest of which must of been 75!) driving a snazzy little electric car. Put right in her place she was!

similar to that winds me right up.. some bint in a huge 4x4/whatever getting in the way of a site delivery/whatever because they think it's their god given right.

The only reason they are driving that mobile status symbol is because they were calculating enough to open their legs at the right time....

These jeans that are ripped several times(bought that way) are hideous enough but the cheapscates that tear their knees out to be trendy are a laughing stock. Its so ghastly. No idea why folk want to dress in rags

The jogging bottoms I'm wearing right now look tattered like that, plus cement staining. Mind you I was working in the garden until it got dark.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
