I'm a bit of a germophobe like Marco. I hate touching toilet door handles (I use my sleeve) or anything that contains other people's arse germs.

I don't think that makes you a germophobe John, it seems entirely reasonable to me. There are some nasty things around. Hepatitis viruses can live on surfaces for weeks, and who wants a knackered liver? I also use a sleeve when leaving a public toilet, and use my foot to raise/lower toilet seats.
A few years ago we went to a Rock 'n' Blues festival in Derbyshire, organised by Outlaws MC, and one of the toilets was a 3 metre wide pit surrounded by a ring of urinals. One evening I saw 3 grown men frolicking in this pit, and sat in about 12" of undiluted piss pretending to take a bath. This too fell below the standard I considered acceptable. I don't know if they suffered any ill effects from this, but I felt ill just watching them. And I'm betting they slept alone that night.
